Born in London to parents of Indian descent.

Raised in New Jersey & New York.
Art museums everywhere.
Moved with my husband to Richmond, Virginia.
Statues of Confederate war heroes everywhere.

Still in culture shock.

TRAINING .

BFA, Pratt Institute. Worked at graphic design studios in New York
and Richmond. Design work honored by PRINT Annual Design
magazine and HOW's 2006 Best of the Best. Promotional "Wassau"
piece featured in the book "Choosing and Using Paper for Great
Graphic Design".

INFLUENCES .

All of the above. Plus the minimalism of mid-century modern art.
Plus the energy and wonder of my two small children.

STYLE .

Patterns pulled from the intricate. Simplicity drawn from the complex.
Chic wrought from antique. East introduced to West.

PASSIONS .

Ink and Paper. Even in the Age of Tweet, they remain the most intimate
medium of expression.

Letterpress. It's a love affair between paper, art and a good impression.

Indian Classical Dance. I have a degree.

Photography. It's better than a purse.
